Get to Know Us Ft. Beauty By Annie Rosee

I have met a lot of beautiful people through beauty blogging and my Instagram and absolutely adore every single one of my new friends! After getting to know the lovely Annie through Instagram, I just knew that we had to do a blog post together. But what post would be perfect for us to share a little about ourselves and have some fun doing so too? I found an amazing post on Jessica Jade Beauty's blog and knew it was perfect. So, here it is.. A little bit about us.

Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

Elley: When I was younger it was extremely curly but I straightened it too much in my teens so now it's wavy naturally.

Annie: Curly, but you'll rarely see me without my hair straight since I'm always straightening it. Do you colour your hair yourself or go to a salon?

Elley: I go to a salon to get my hair done, I don't trust myself to get it right! Annie: I mainly do it at home because it costs so much $$ but occasionally at the salon.

Do you wear the same clothing style every day or do you change it?

Elley: I don't know that I even really have a style. Usually just jeans, boots and a top. Annie: I don't really have a style I stick to.

Favourite perfumes?

Elley: Dolce & Gabbana - Rose The One Annie: Britney Spears - Fantasy, Juicy Couture lots of others.

How often do you change your nail polish?

Elley: I actually prefer getting my nails professionally done. But if I am using my own polishes, usually weekly or as soon as it chips. Annie: Almost every week, if I can be bothered. Lol

What are your favourite movies?

Elley: Mean Girls, Ratatouille (yes.. the kids movie), Taken.. Basically a whole bunch of genres. Annie: I don't really have a favourite movie that I can name but I love Action, Horror, Romance, Comedy and all those types of movies. I really like pretty much everything.

How long does it take you to put on makeup?

Elley: Far too long. Maybe 30 minutes on an average day and about an hour or so if I have an event. Annie: If it's just for work usually 15-20 minutes. If I'm going out 30-40 mins.

What do you do first - Face or eyes?

Elley: My face! Annie: I always do my face first then my eyes.

Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?

Elley: Oh god, this is not a good question to ask me.. I collect and buy what I need when I need it. Annie: Uhm, lol. I buy makeup way too much makeup that I never even use or use a few times and never again.

How often do you wear false lashes?

Elley: I don't wear them daily - usually if I have an event on or something special I will. Buuut I definitely love having eyelash extensions! Annie: I usually only wear false lashes if I'm going out or to a dinner or something nice.

Do you do a full face of makeup everyday?

Elley: Pretty much. Unless I have no intentions of being in public that day. Annie: I used to hate not wearing makeup everyday, but now I only wear it on the days that I'm leaving the house.

Do you wear makeup when you're home alone or with family?

Elley: Depends on if I have to go out that day. Annie: No, not really.

Will you leave the house without makeup?

Elley: I feel like I've already answered this question above haha. Annie: Depends on how my face is looking on the day haha I get really bad dark circles so I like to cover them up if I'm going out.

How many high end products do you own?

Elley: I don't really feel like getting off the couch and counting them right now so... I would say between 10-20.. Maybe? Annie: Uhm, only a few. I would love to try more but my budget doesn't really allow me too haha.

Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you're getting dressed?

Elley: Let's be honest here, most days I will just throw on whatever is clean and folded. If I have an event to go to or even just out for dinner, I will definitely plan out what I am going to wear! Annie: I usually just wear whatever most days, if I'm going out to a function or dinner or something I'll organise what I'm going to wear.

How often do you change your handbag?

Elley: I have far too many handbags (but still need more) and usually change it up each month. Annie: I just bought a new handbag. I don't really own a lot so I never really change it.

What time do you wake up and go to sleep?

Elley: When I was working full time I would get up at 7:30am and go to bed around 10-10:30pm but now that I'm not working it's a bit different. Always up at 8:30-9am and go to bed from 11ish onwards. Annie: My sleeping pattern is completely out of whack and I go to sleep at weird times and always wake up early. I'm always having a nap during the day if I'm home though.

How often and when do you work out?

Elley: Can we just skip this question? Haha Annie: I take my dog for a walk each day? Lol that's enough exercise for me.

Left handed or right handed?

Elley: I'm right handed. Annie: Right.

How tall are you?

Elley: Not tall enough. I think the last time I checked was in year 10 and I was about 1.58m.. Annie: I think I'm like 1.66m.

Do you speak any foreign languages?

Elley: I studied French during primary school and the start of high school but unfortunately have forgotten a lot of it. Annie: I used to be able to speak some Italian but I'm not too great at it now.

How many pets do you have?

Elley: I have 3 cute little bunny rabbits - Millie, Archie & Franklin. Annie: Just my dog.

How often are you blogging?

Elley: I try and write up material for my blog every couple of days and post between 1-2 times a week. Annie: I try to have a blog post go up once a week.

Do you read comments posted on blogs?

Elley: To be honest, not really. Annie: No, not really unless I'm interested in the post and if it asks for people's opinions I'll have a look.

Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?

Elley: I used to have a list on my phone that was a mile long so I converted to a board on my Pinterest and now it's so much easier to find everything. Annie: I always screenshot posts of things if I want to try them so I don't forget.

How did you come up with your blog name?

Elley: It's my name! Annie: My blog name is my first and middle name.

Who are your favourite authors?

Elley: I don't really have any favourite authors but my favourite kind of books are mystery & autobiographies. Annie: .....

How often do you clean your house?

Elley: As soon as it needs it. We usually try and give it a good clean every weekend though. Annie: I don't own my own house, I'm still living at home but I help clean when I can.

What's your favourite colour?

Elley: PINK. Duh.. Annie: Purple, black and white.

What's one thing most people probably don't know about you?

Elley: I suffer from anxiety and find it very hard to tell the people closest to me how I'm feeling. Annie: I have my own small business.

What are you doing with the rest of your day?

Elley: Shhhleeeeeepinggg.. Annie: Well, its 10pm so probably going to sleep as I have work tomorrow.
