It’s funny actually, I started writing this blog post with the intentions of giving a short summary of my favourite drugstore and high end beauty products, yet I found myself listing off beauty items only from the drugstore, how crazy! Well I think that just goes to show that not all “holy grail” beauty products have to be expensive and there really are some great drugstore brands out there that are definitely on par with high end brands.
It's no secret that I love every single one of these products unconditionally and for that reason, will forever repurchase them. It's also no secret that I have a slight obsession with beauty products and forever drain my bank account to feed my addiction.. Gees that sounds bad when I say it out loud. But hey, we're all a little obsessed aren't we?!
I have also considered doing a sequel to this blog post featuring the high end makeup I will always repurchase. Let me know in the comments section on my home page or message me on Instagram if you'd love to see this! So on to the main part of today's blog post - my top 5 affordable beauty products that I will always repurchase!
Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops $29.95AUD from The Body Shop
Being pale can really be challenging sometimes, actually a lot of the time to be honest. Finding the perfect match for foundation or a concealer light enough to match your skin tone can be really difficult. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I can never seem to find a good drugstore foundation that is light enough for my skin tone and doesn't have a pink undertone. Anyone else?
All my struggles finally came to and end when I came across these ah-mazing Shade Adjusting Drops from The Body Shop. A drop or two of this liquid gold mixed with my foundation is just a match made in heaven. You can get the Shade Adjusting Drops in two different shades: One is to lighten & one is to darken the colour of your foundation. I love these drops so much that I did a whole blog post about them.

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer $13.95AUD from Priceline
I've tried many concealers over the last year and none of them have compared to Rimmel's Match Perfection range. The formula of this concealer is so creamy and is perfect for concealing dark circles under the eyes, redness and any minor imperfections on the rest of my face. One thing that I really like about this concealer is how easy it is to blend! I've found that with a lot of the more affordable concealers, they can apply really patchy and just not blend out all that well. I also love the applicator on this concealer too, the brush makes it so easy to apply!
This longevity of the concealer under any of my favourite foundations is actually quite impressive considering the price. I usually like to apply mine with the brush applicator, blend out with a Beauty Blender, let it set for a moment and then bake with my RCMA No Colour Powder - Stays all day.

Le Tan Wash Off Bronze $14.99AUD from Le Tan
Have you ever been invited to a last minute dinner date or night out on the town and realised that you are as pale as the sheets on your bed? If you're like me and answered yes, then you need this Wash Off Bronze by Le Tan in your life. You're probably all very aware by now but I am white, not cream, not beige, I'm white. I seriously use this stuff almost daily in the Light Bronze shade just for a nice, healthy glow. I've found that it's best applied by spraying about 20-30cms away from my body and working into my skin with my favourite Le Tan Application Mitt!
They have a variety of different shades to suit all skin tones - I primarily use the Light Bronze shade, Deep Bronze for special occasions & haven't ventured as far as the Dark Bronze yet. They're so simple to apply, last all day/night long and are super easy to wash off in the shower. And no, if you're wondering, they don't fade or wash off in the rain - you actually need soap to wash the bronzer off your skin. I think it's the perfect way to give yourself a quick, temporary tan without the fuss of shaving, exfoliating, moisturising and then maintaining it over the coming days. You just apply when you're ready and wash it off when you're finished, voila!

Batiste Dry Shampoo $9.99AUD from Priceline
Whether you lead a busy lifestyle and don't have the time to wash your hair all the time or you're just having a lazy day and really can't find the motivation, Batiste Dry Shampoo is your new best friend. A quick spray through your roots and over the oily parts of your hair and your no longer a greaseball *yay*. Also, Batiste make some great dry shampoo's that can boost the volume in your hair too!
They have a variety of shades for different hair colours so that if you're blonde you don't end up with dark roots and if you're brunette you don't end up with light roots. Just make sure that you give the can a good shake before applying and leave a good amount of space between the can and your head or you'll end up with spots of dry shampoo throughout your hair.

Maybelline Tantalizing Taupe Lipstick $17.95AUD from Priceline
If you are new to my blog, then you probably wouldn't have seen me ramble on about this amazing lipstick yet. If you ever thought that the best lipsticks were made by high end brands and cost upwards of $30.00AUD, then you're wrong. I am totally and utterly in love with this lipstick which is a part of the Stripped Nudes collection by Maybelline. It's the perfect go to colour for any time of the year and works on so many different skin tones!
Having pale skin, finding the perfect shade of nude that A) doesn't make you look like you have no lips & B) doesn't look to brown or contrasted against your pale skin tone can be a real struggle. I am just about to go through my second lipstick in this shade am even considering getting down to Priceline to stock up on about 50 of them so I never run out! I'm absolutely obsessed and will never stop loving this lipstick!
