Battle of The Mascaras | Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara - Original Vs. Waterproof

Better Than Sex Mascara by Too Faced is my absolute holy grail of mascaras. There are so many mixed reviews on it out there and today I’m here to give you my opinion. I’ve seen people say you either love it or hate it - and for me, I’m madly in love with it

For so long I’ve struggled to find a mascara that perfectly suits my lashes. Although I have the length, unfortunately I was not blessed with the best, naturally curled lashes. Even though I have to use my lash curler every morning to get some kind of a good look happening, no mascara I’ve ever used has held the curl all day. Usually within an hour, I find my lashes have straightened back out and look so flat again - so frustrating! The Better Than Sex Mascara is the only mascara I’ve found so far, that really does hold my curl all day long, give me massive amounts of volume and accentuates the natural length of my lashes. I’ve put together below a list of my favourite (& least favourite) attributes of both the original Better Than Sex Mascara and the Waterproof version to show you lovely people why I think this mascara is so amazing.

Original BTS Mascara:

Pros: Perfectly holds my curl all day long & is easy to remove at the end of the day with a simple facial cleanser/makeup remover.

Cons: Sometimes I find that it transfers and rubs off under my lower lash line making it look like I have dark circles.

Waterproof BTS Mascara:

Pros: Stays on all day long & doesn’t transfer like the original. Again, holds my curl all day long and doesn’t straighten out my lashes.

Cons: Sometimes can be a pain to remove and takes a bit extra work/stronger makeup remover.
