The Best AFFORDABLE Makeup From 2016 So Far

For today's blog post, I've put together a list of my favourite drugstore makeup that doesn't cost a fortune! Who doesn't love a bargain right?! I would have to say that a lot of the items below really do compare to some of the higher-ended products that I own and are just as awesome for just a fraction of the cost, while others really can't compare.
Most the places that I like to purchase my drugstore makeup from (in Australia of course), are: Priceline, Target, Kmart, Chemist Warehouse & Direct Chemist Outlet.

Primer - Maybelline Baby Skin
A similar finish to the Porefessional Primer by Benefit that helps to fill pores and smooth fine lines for an easier application all over. I sometimes have to be careful not to apply too much otherwise it can move when applying foundation with a buffing brush.
Foundation - Rimmel Lasting Finish | Shade - Light Porcelain
I will say that I do honestly prefer high end foundations compared to drug store but if I had to choose just one it would be the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation as it stands out more than others due to it's medium-full coverage and it just seems to last a lot longer than some (hence the name).
Concealer - Maybelline Age Rewind | Shade - Fair
This concealer truly is a unique formula and is absolutely perfect for dark under eyes. It's got to be my all time favourite drug store concealer ever, not just for 2016!
Pressed Powder - Rimmel Stay Matte | Shade - Translucent
I constantly go through phases between liking pressed powders and loose powders more but I always seem to come back to Rimmel's Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Translucent.
Loose Powder - SAVVY Mineral Powder | Shade - Finishing Veil Being super pale, it's so difficult to try and find a "translucent" loose powder that doesn't make my foundation look 2 shades darker after application (surely I'm not the only one?!) That is why I absolutely ADORE the super fine Finishing Veil!
Blush - E.L.F | Shade - Tickled Pink
E.L.F have some really great products for affordable prices at Kmart in Australia and every time I'm there I get something new. I have a couple of E.L.F's blushes but I particularly love the shade Tickled Pink. It's a really soft, rosey pink perfect for every day.
Bronzer - SAVVY Mineral Baked Bronzer | Shade - Radiance
I'm normally not a huge fun of bronzers, but Savvy by DB really does do a good baked bronzer. It has a hint of pink blush through it and a small pinch of shimmer which really does brighten up my face. It's almost pretty pigmented for the price which makes it even better!
Highlighter - Essence Eyeshadow | Shade - The Grammy Goes Glammy
Even though this eyeshadow really isn't a highlighter, it was 23cents in a clearance bowl at Target and I almost fainted when I saw it - how could I not buy it?! I absolutely love this colour for a soft shimmery glow or a bright inner corner highlight.
Brows - Chi Chi Pomade | Shade - Blonde
I was always put off buying the ABH Dipbrow Pomade not only because I'd never used a pomade before, but also the price tag that came with trying a new product (that I could potentially be terrible at using!) Then I stumbled across the Chi Chi Brow Pomade at a 30% off sale at Target and have never looked back,
it's ah-mazing!
Eyeliner Pencil - Maybelline Big Eyes | Shade - Black & White Duo
I've been using this eyeliner since I was about 13 years old I think. Just a simple duel ended black & white pencil eyeliner perfect for both my waterline & tightline - love it!
Eyeliner Liquid - Maybelline Hyper Sharp | Shade - Black
I never really use liquid eyeliner all that much, probably because I absolutely suck at it with my annoying hooded eyes. I always seem to look like a massive panda with tiny little eye when I put it on but the Maybelline Hyper Sharp is the best in the drugstore game for me and doesn't budge or transfer to my top lid once it's on which is a plus!
Mascara - Maybelline Great Lash | Shade - Black
Maybelline do a great mascara and I love all of them but I would have to say that the all-time superstar "Great Lash" is my favourite pick from the bunch. It's a smaller brush (perfect for the lower lash line) and really defines my naturally longer lashes for a natural look.
Lipstick - Maybelline Stripped Nudes | Shade - Tantalizing Taupe
This isn't just my favourite drugstore lipstick, but it's my favourite lipstick ever. I have honestly worn this every day since I first bought it and refuse to wear anything else - it's almost finished I swear! I don't know why, but this lipstick smells like a slice of heaven (kind of chocolatey you could say) and is the softest, butteriest lippie EVER!!
Setting Spray - E.L.F Makeup Mist & Set
I haven't tried all that many drugstore settings sprays but would say that the E.L.F Makeup Mist & Set is definitely my favourite. Some girls say that it's even a dupe for the MAC Fix + (although who could top the devine smell of Fix + honestly?!)
