Struggling with eczema all my life, it has always been extremely difficult to find a tanning product that doesn't stick to my eczema, accentuate how bad it looks or irritate it, making the problem worst. Over the last few years my eczema has improved so much that I cringe when I look back at photos from my late teens at how bad it was. As much as my eczema has improved, unfortunately it will never disappear altogether and I just have to continue looking after my skin.

When I first heard from the beautiful people behind Sol Marr I was absolutely thrilled to hear that they had a completely organic tanning mousse* that they wanted me to try. It's 100% vegan and made for people like me that struggle with irritated, dry skin problems. Sol Marr is an Australian owned company and are actually based in Melbourne, Victoria.

You know that the tan is actually good for you when there's ingredients like green tea, avocado oil and jojoba oil in it! The tanning mousse has a variety of benefits for all skin types and you can check out more of these by clicking here or heading straight to the Sol Marr website. Oh and they're completely cruelty free as none of their products are tested on animals!

So, onto the tan itself and how it worked with my skin.. I was really intrigued by this tan before I even got the chance to apply it; Completely organic, made for people like me with eczema, I was so excited! I did my usual shave and exfoliate routine the day before I first used it and was ready to go. As I always do, I used my Le Tan Application Mitt to buff the tan into my skin and started with my chest and arms.

I noticed straight away that the tan dries really fast so it's important to buff it into your skin quickly and not sit on Instagram scrolling through your feed like I may or may not have.. Once I learned that I had to be quick with application, I got stuck into applying it all over. You really don't need a lot of product with this tan as a little goes a long way. I first applied one layer over my chest, arms & legs with no noticeable signs of it sticking to my eczema (on my arms) which I was pleased with.

The tan can be washed off anywhere from 2-4 hours after application but definitely gives off an immediate bronze glow as soon as you apply it (especially when you're as white as a ghost like me). Unlike a lot of tans, I didn't feel sticky after applying this tan and was even comfortable enough to sleep in. I will 100% purchase this tan over & over again - no reactions on my sensitive skin and no orange tones.. I couldn't ask for any more in a tanning product!
