Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette Swatches & First Impression

Holy Grail is right! I have been on every wait list imaginable (in Australia) for the past 6 months, waiting for the day the Violet Voss Holy Grail palette came back in stock. Finally, after months (but felt like years) Beauty Bay got this baby back in stock! I've never ran at my laptop and checked out on their website quicker! It was a funny sight, but oh well.. The things we do for makeup right?!

So, let me tell you why this palette is now my all time favourite. I know, I've said that before right.. But this literally is the best thing I own now. The pigmentation is 10/10, the colour range is 10/10, the packaging is 10/10, everything about this palette is 10/10. I literally cannot find a single fault in this palette (although mine came with a little scuff off the right hand side where the silver border is - even though this really isn't a big deal to your average person (probably just that I'm a sucker for pretty packaging & have a slight case of OCD)

The palette includes 20 different shadows that are like no other. I got mine from Beauty Bay for $57.20 and I'm sorry to say that right now it's sold out, actually I think it sold out that day I was lucky enough to grab one! Even though it's currently sold out on Beauty Bay, if you sign up for their newsletter, you will get notified by email as soon as it's back in stock (that's how I managed to snag mine!)

I can now honestly see why everyone is ranting and raving about this palette when it really is, in my opinion, the steal of the century. I'd not come across a palette so versatile, easy to work with and pigmented until I found the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette.

The shimmer shades in this palette are unbelieveably pigmented & so extremely creamy and easy to apply. Some of my favourites so far are Ploof (for the inner corner), Toffee (the perfect gold shimmer) & Cool Beans (my favourite kind of rose shimmer). The matte shades in this palette are also very impressive - super blendable and you only need a touch of shadow for it to really show up on the eyes! You can seriously create so many different looks with this one palette & I think this will be my new favourite for travelling too (the mirror is massive!)

I am not joking when I say that the $57.20 I spent on this palette is the best $57.20 I've ever spent. I'm currently looking at buying the Drenched Metal palette off Beauty Bay too, I'm just obsessed! Make sure you do everything you can to get your hands on this palette, you will not in any way be disappointed with your decision the moment you lay your eyes on it!
