Belle Botanicals - Affordable Skincare

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to receive this amazing care package from the beautiful team at Belle Botanicals. Struggling with dry & sensitive skin for so long, I've found that it can be really quite difficult to find a skin care range that is not only good for your skin, but not too harsh on your bank account. The amazing team at Belle Botanicals put together a lovely package including some facial masks, scrubs, cleansers, moisturisers and lip balms, all tailored to my skin type.

Belle Botanicals is based in Australia and is run by husband and wife team - Matt and Jacinta (the name is even inspired by their gorgeous daughter Shaylah Belle - how sweet!) They are honestly so kind and give an educated response to any skin care questions you have (don't forget to follow them on Instagram for updates & giveaways). It's so great to find an Australian based skin care company that is family owned as it just makes the overall experience that much more inviting and personal.

The Lip Balm Trio* comes in three delicious, and I mean delicious, smelling scents that I just can't get enough of - Chocolate, Vanilla (my fav) and Strawberry! Priced at only $12.95AUD for all three balms, that works out at about $4.32AUD each lip balm! I can't put my finger on what it is, but the strawberry one reminds me so much of something from my childhood and I just love it! Each of the lip balms is so light on your lips and doesn't feel heavy & thick like some balms. Perfect for on the go or before applying liquid lipsticks!

These lip balms, whether in the trio or individually, could make the best birthday or Christmas presents (especially stocking fillers) - they're so cute & dainty! Plus they're really great quality lip balms and come in glass pots that would be easily washed out ready to be reused once you've finished with them.

I've been using the Cream Cleanser* each night after removing my makeup and have loving it so far! It removes all the makeup I missed and all the oil & dirt too. It's perfect for normal to dry skin and feels as though it almost has a gentle foam when you work it in. If I'm ever in a rush to cleanse my face at night this one is my go-to and I usually prefer to use it with my electric facial cleansing brush (like a Clarisonic)

The Facial Scrub* is very gentle on my skin, which I think it's a big must for a facial exfoliant (after all, it is removing dead skin from your face) The scrub is perfect for all skin types and doesn't affect the sensitive areas on my face at all! I love using this in the morning before applying my makeup for a smoother and seamless foundation application. You can pick up a 125ml bottle for just $12.95 - again, so affordable!

The Facial Moisturiser* I was gifted is actually specifically designed for dry skin. The lightweight moisturiser doesn't feel heavy on your skin, leaving it feeling fresh, plump and hydrated. The moisturiser is again only a meer $8.95AUD and comes in a 125ml pump bottle that makes it easy to grab & apply morning and night.

I'm usually not a big fan of body lotions as a lot of the one's I've tried haven't really agreed with the eczema I have on my arms, but the Passionfruit & Mango Body Lotion* by Belle Botanicals smells so good it's hard not to love. I haven't tested it out on my eczema as of yet but have been loving it on my legs especially after exfoliating them! This body lotion comes in a 125ml bottle for $8.95AUD and is available in different scents for all skin types!

The classic Green Clay Mask* retails for $15.95AUD and you get 250ml worth of product which is extremely great value for money! The Green Clay Mask is perfecting for drawing out your impurities and soothes your skin, leaving a soft, fresh complexion. The shea butter, aloe vera & natural oils hydrate my skin without feeling like an oil overload on my face! For $15.95, this product really isn't hyped up enough - it's so affordable and so good for your skin, it's a win win!

If you're looking for a facial mask that will hydrate, plump and make your skin look more youthful, this is it. The Dragons Blood Facial Mask* is full of natural ingredients that will only lead you to softer, more youthful skin with every application. Although I'm on 21, I honestly believe that you're never too young to start using anti-aging products. The Dragons Blood Facial Mask comes in a 250ml container & retails for $39.95AUD (currently on sale for $24.00AUD!)

I like to apply these face masks with my Real Techniques paddle foundation brush after cleansing my face at night, making sure that my skin is dry before applying. These face masks are honestly some of the best I have tried in a long time and would highly recommend trying them out. A little product goes a long way with both of these and I can't see myself running out of either mask any time soon (bonus!)
