Let’s face it - we are all cheapskates at heart. I mean, who doesn’t love a bargain?! Don’t get me wrong, I am in love with high end makeup in all it’s glory but sometimes, on those weeks where I’m counting down the days until payday, I need a good bargain to lift my spirits. So today I have put together a list of my top buys (in Australia) for under $10AUD, I hope you enjoy!

Bath Bombs Up to $10.00 AUD from Lush Lush is by far the best in the business when it comes to indulgent bath bombs. They have such a wide range of bath bombs with a variety of different designs, colours and scents. Whether your favourite bath's are bright pink, floral and flirty or gold, glittery & fun, I guarantee Lush will have a bath bomb for you! Plus, they have some amazing gift sets you can give to friends & family or keep for yourself & save a few dollars. Either way, you need these bath bombs.

Bubblegum Lip Scrub $9.95 AUD from Lush I have used this lip scrub what feels like a thousand times by now and the container still looks full?! It's the best way to remove dead skin for your lips and make lipstick/gloss application so much easier (also it just looks better). The smell of the lip scrub is similar to Lush's Snow Fairy shower gel and reminds me so much of my childhood - what more could you ask for? Also it's completely natural & doesn't matter if you get any in your mouth - I may or may not actually enjoy the taste... See my ramble on about how delicious this is on my Favourite Lip Products Winter 2016 post

Kara Lashes $1.00 USD from Shop Miss A Although I don't wear fake eyelashes all that often, when I do wear them, lashes by Kara are my first pick. You can buy these sets of lashes for $1USD each (so approx $1.30AUD at the moment) from Shop Miss A where everything is this price - bargain! Kara has a wide variety of different styles of lashes - wispy, natural, bold, flirty and more. I have a few different styles from Kara and get many wears out of each set. Definitely worth trying, especially for $1 each?!

Facetune App $5.99 AUD from iTunes store & Google Play The FaceTune App is one of the best photoediting apps I have ever used - both on my previous Android smartphones and my current iPhone 6s. I solely use this app to sharpen details and bump up the brightness of my white backgrounds in my flat lays for Instagram. I'm usually not one to spend more than about $2 on apps but this one is definitely worth it! I talk more about the Facetune App & mobile editing in my Beginner's Blogging Tips post

Coconut Oil $9.35 AUD from Any Supermarket This stuff can literally be used for anything - hair treatment, makeup remover, helps heal scars, soothes dry and irritated skin, anything! I love coconut oil as a makeup remover most as it comes in handy whenever I run out of my micellar water - a quick dash to the pantry and I'm right. Plus, it's all natural and good for your skin because there are no nasty chemicals hidden in it. Head to my Top 20 Beauty Hacks post for more uses of coconut oil & other household items!

NYX Butter Gloss $9.95 AUD from Priceline I've always been a massive fan of NYX's amazing lip products & their Butter Glosses are just amazing! They smell so delicious and literally feel like smooth, silky butter on your lips - it's heavenly. They're the perfect "your-lips-but-better" gloss and I will forever love them! You used to be able to purchase these from Target alone (in Australia) but you can now purchase from Priceline or directly from the NYX site! SAVVY by DB Mineral Loose Powder $9.99 AUD from Priceline I had never been a huge fan of loose powders from the drugstore, purely because there was never a shade light enough for my skin tone and every "translucent" powder would oxidise the second I put it to my face. This powder by Savvy is one of the best loose powders I've ever used and would be perfect for any skin tone as they come in a variety of shades. Although this powder doesn't give you any more coverage on top of your foundation, it leaves your skin feely silky and lasts all day long. I ramble on more about the Savvy Loose Powder in my Favourite Drugstore Makeup 2016 post

Sard Wonder Soap $2.92 AUD from Any Supermarket A while back now one of my friends from work suggested that I try washing my brushes with Sard Wonder Soap. I'd honestly never heard of the product before but thought I would give it a try, after all, it's less than $3 and wasn't going to break my bank any time soon. I'm seriously so glad that I ended up trying it & wish I had have done so sooner as it's now my all-time favourite way to clean my brushes! I simply wet the brush head, swirl it around the bar of soap for a few seconds and then brush away on my Sigma Brush Cleaning Mat.

eBay Lip Liners (12 Pack) $2.00 AUD from eBay If you're looking for a cheap set of lip liners to get you started or you just really don't use them all that often where you find the need to spend a fortune on them, these are the lip liners for you! $2 for a 12 pack - surely that's the bargain of the century?! These lip liners are really pigmented, easy to apply and fairly long lasting considering the price. For $2, I'd happily purchase them again!

Lucas’ Papaw Ointment $5.99 AUD from Priceline I have been using this ointment since as far back as my early teens when my skin was extremely (and I mean extremely) dry & I had a lot of trouble with my eczema. Still to this day I use this ointment for a lot of things - to help heal scars, moisturise my lips and sooth sore, dry & cracked skin. The tube is small enough to fit in your handbag or clutch and big enough to last forever. I think the last time I bought a tube was over 12 months ago and I still have over 3/4 left!

There are probably a million things out there that are totally worth the price, but for me, I really do enjoy a good bargain as it's just so pleasing getting value for money. Don't get me wrong, there are some beauty items I own that I will never opt to use a drugstore dupe for, but these products above are ones that I live by and recommend you try, you won't be disappointed!
