The Beauty Product That Changed My Foundation For Good

Having fair skin can be a real pain sometimes, especially when it comes to finding the perfect shade of foundation or a concealer light enough. We’ve all been there, standing in a makeup store with a consultant getting “colour matched” and then walking outside into the sunlight and realising you’re actually a human pumpkin..

Out of my entire foundation collection ranging from drugstore brands like Maybelline to high end brands like Kat Von D, only 1 shade, possibly 2, truly matches my natural skin tone perfectly. But then I came across these shade adjusting drops by The Body Shop. They come in two shades - Lightening and Darkening and are available in store & online for $29.95AUD (I was lucky enough to grab mine on sale for $17.95AUD!)

So how do they work? Well, you simply add as many drops as you need (gradually, of course) until you’ve got the shade exactly right for your skin tone. To be honest I was a little worried about the liquid itself making my foundation not as full in coverage but was so surprised to find that it really didn’t affect it at all! These drops have now become a part of my everyday makeup routine and something I could never live without - thank you The Body Shop!
