Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette Review

When I first saw a photo of the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette on Instagram one night, I thought I was dreaming. Surely this beautiful, gorgeous and girly eye shadow palette can't be real?! Pink love hearts, a mixture of mattes & shimmers and a variety of pinks and browns - it had to be a dream! After a lot of midnight searching, I found that, alas, the palette wasn't a vision in my dreams, it was real and it was coming soon! I was in love!
So I got my piggy bank together and saved up every cent I could find lying around the house (seeing as we pay almost double what the lucky girls in the US pay!) It was released in Australia on the 23rd of February this year on www.mecca.com.au for $78 AUD and I had to be one of the first to get the palette, I couldn't resist! (even though it's not limited edition)
There is something so sweet about an eye shadow palette that smells like chocolate and Too Faced has definitely nailed it again with this palette! This super fun & girly eye shadow palette comes in a candy pink tin just like the original Chocolate Bar & Semi-Sweet Chocolate bar palettes, also by Too Faced. The love heart design carries on into the inside of the tin where there are 16 stunning shades in the palette, both mattes & shimmers.
Altogether, there are 5 matte shades, in both warm and cooler tones (with a pop of colour added in the mix) perfect for any time of the year. The overall texture of the shadows are so soft, buttery and smooth to apply and blend so perfectly, just like the original Chocolate Bar Palette. As they are formulated with real cocoa, the smell coming from the palette is to die for and is apparently full of anti-oxidants which helping with restoration of the skin.
Overall, Too Faced have really brought the goods with this palette and created something so fun & girly and made it just as elegant as their previous Chocolate Bar Palettes. I have said it before and I will say it again, Too Faced is hands down my favourite brand of all time and all the reasons above are why.
